Zitong Wang enchanted music lovers with Chopin at the Chopin Festival in Duszniki-Zdrój, 2026

The pianist fully demonstrated her exceptional ability to interpret Chopin's music. She played the three Impromptus from Op. 29, 36, and 51, the Fantasie-Impromptu, Op. 66, and the Polonaise-Fantasie, Op. 61, with a remarkable sense of timbre and intensity. Chopin's songs "A Young Girl's Wish" and "My Sweetheart" Op. 74, Mozart's Sonata in E-flat major, and a virtuoso performance of the Fantasy on Two Themes from Mozart's operas "Le nozze di Figaro" and "Don Giovanni," arranged by Ferenc Liszt, filled the second half of the recital.

The audience rewarded Zitong Wang with a standing ovation.
